If I started giving my seat to everyone on the grounds that they were weaker than me, I'd NEVER get a seat. Yes, I AM superstrong, okayyyy?
Anyway, lady in Case 1 was by no means 'hapless'. Anything but. She was decidedly healthy, with a glow on her skin, which Health and Glow I mistook for pregnancy... and you know the rest of the mortifying tale. Sigh. Anyway.
And in Case 2, no, the cop did not stop young man for holding up traffic. I went up, didn't I, and I saw what was going on, and I heard the loosely flung accusations and the charge of having jumped a red, didn't I? Let m...My dearest Pretty,

What a good read that was. Let me start by saying that you are of the very cute kind (hahahaha) for constantly looking to do good deeds. Regarding the first incident, why did you bother finding out whether she was indeed pregnant? If you thought that she looked hapless you should've just offered her your seat no? You'd feel a lot better that way. I dislike having anyone stand when I'm comfortably sitting, so instead I just offer them the seat and stand myself (I think it's got something to do with my conception of being super strong hahahaha). More often than not the person would be very thankful and that makes you feel good. :)

Moving on, the second incident was just amusing. Isn't the left turn free? Anyways, once again, it was very kyooot of you to ride up all the way upfront and inform the driver that. Too bad it misfired.

Not all good deeds lead to 'good' but they definitely make you a better person :)

PS: Did you consider that maybe the cop stopped him for holding up the traffic?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
