Movies, Movies, Movies

So, there's this show on TV called Chicks on Flicks. *cringe* And there's an ad running for the New Year where Ira Dubey goes, very, very baldly, "Movies, movies, movies." One wants to slap something hard at that point.

Anywho. Here are some movies I'm waiting to watch. The question is how. Hmmm.
1. Australia: Baz + Nicole + Hugh + whatte cinematography
2. Children of Hangshui: Ruth says so (Ruthie being a great source of what to watch)
3. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button: Ruth says so again
4. Slumdog Millionaire: Danny Boyle + Seems like a big deal + I like Anil Kapoor
5. Vaaranam Aayiram, the new Surya movie: For Surya, duh.
6. Burn After Reading: Good Gawde gave it a thumbs up, and in any case: Brad+George+the Coen Bros.

Good list. I want to watch Australia too but the reviews I read didn't have anything good to say about it. Apparently the Curious Case of Benjamin Button is awesome...but hasn't released here yet.

I watched Burn After Reading. Only John Malkovich is watchable...and Brad Pitt to an extent. I don't even know why George Clooney signed up for this. In the famous words of the legendary Skinny, "Nothing great"

I will put up a list of loads of other movies I watched recently as well :)

May the force be with you!

no. 5 aayiram, was terrible. We went and saw and regret it massively. Sorry to damp-squib your aspiration. Most maddening film.

ps- my word verification is 'beard' (!?)

Whaaaaat???? 'Aayiram' not good? But how can this be? Aha! I know. You're just jealous. I knew it. Nothing gets past Saab the Spectacular. (Dude, like really?)Dyammit.
Watched 'Slumdog'. Nice, but I think the Hindi version would have been more realistic.

there is another weird chick on tv who gives movie reviews - i dont know if she is ira dubey but whoever she is (with her very strong north-indian accent) - i CANNOT stand her
