I Need a Bookshelf

Because it has now to come to this.
Stockpiling books on my bedside table is just not cute any more, especially since I knock them down every day.

No place on the table, that's choked up.

The cupboard is pretty packed as well.

Let us now head to the other bedside table. No. No hope there either.

One tiny bookshelf provided in a corner of a corner... How much can this guy do? Moving on.

It is but obvious that this bare wall now deserves rows and rows of dark wood shelves, one below the other etc. to serve as guest rooms for my books. It is the only Hope left....

Awesome! books everywhere. I like. I am not allowed to do this any more... books go back into the bookshelf :)

But i used to have them strewn all over the place!

Assalam-alaikam Sister,
My home is pretty much the same, if you saw my bedside table you would laugh.

I went and got the shelves for onr wall, only problem is they are noe full too. Can never have too many books.

Incidentally I noticed a book called Stones into Schools - I am reading 3 cups of tea which is great, I assume this is the follow-on?

Are you a book conservative who *must* have *all* her books in dead tree format? Or are you progressive enough to read at least *some* books in dead electron format?

I suggest investigating the Amazon Kindle for at least some of your needs. You can get the classic Kindle or wait a couple of weeks for the all new Kindle DX (17K in Indian Rupees).

On a related note, an e-reader is particularly useful if you are the kind who'd like to have all your books with you wherever you go (I am one; I often wish if I could magically transport a book to me when I'm traveling)

Sorry, Manoj. Very much need my books to be on Papyrus. Can't stand e-books for too long. Wherefore the silverfish and smell of old paper? Was offered Kindle recently and turned it down. Ha ha.
